Cynthia and Ralph

It's going to be interesting to see if Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader's insertion into the Presidential race is going to make any difference. At the moment, I'm not seeing that they'll have any impact in November.

If I remember correctly Nader grabbed around 2% of the vote in the last election, or maybe it was in the election before? Isn't this his third try? or maybe it's his fourth.

This is Cynthia's first shot and she doesn't seem to be getting a lot of traction. I'm posting a story below about the Feb. 5th Arkansas Green Party primary. She came in 2nd with 20%. Guess who came in first? Uncommitted.

Now at that time the Green Party was still courting Nader. They wanted him but didn't get him.

He has a Hispanic VP picked. That's an unknown factor. Obama is gaining with Hispanics but according to the polls he's not high on their list of candidates to trust. With a Hispanic VP in the mix will some be enticed to vote Nader rather than Obama or Clinton?

Maybe because I lived through Cynthia in Georgia I can't see her having making much of an impression on voters across the country.

It's already been an intersting election. I don't think the surprises are over.
