Obama backing away from Panetta for CIA?

Red State post says Obama may be backing away from Panetta. You be the judge when you read the story. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out. I know there's been a lot of back and forth on this "leak". What I found surprising was some of the support for Panetta coming from the Right as I listened at times today to the talkies talking on TV.

President-elect Obama, stung by criticism from California Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein and West Virginia Democrat Senator John Rockefeller backed away from the reported appointment of Leon Panetta to head the CIA:

RedState is saying that Obama is already backing away from Panetta after sharp criticism that ensued following a the leak that Obama was going to pick him to be the CIA chief . In a media availability today, a reporter asked Obama what he though Panetta brought to the table as Director of the CIA considering he doesn’t have an intelligence experience. This is his response:
