The video below is Democrat Senator Hank Johnson from Georgia's 4th District. He's 55, an attorney and we are paying him $174,000 a year to represent us in Washington. The video shows Johnson at a House Armed Services Committee questioning Admiral Robert Willard (head of the U.S. Pacific fleet) about stationing 5,000 additional U.S. Marines and their families on the western Pacific island of Guam. Johnson's concern? That putting that many more people on the little island will tip it over...
OK, now I want everyone in the U.S. to run, drive, fly or somehow get to California quickly, converge at noon tomorrow. Then, zip back over to North Carolina... then back to California... let's see if we can get that same tipping motion going for the United States that we used to get when we were kids in the car going around mountains...Remember this next time you're headed to the Keys for vacation!!! Check the weight limit of the Key --- or any island you plan to visit --- first.
Call me a skeptic...
